Job Description Job Description Our practice is growing and we are adding a full-time authorization coordinator to our team!We are a busy cardiology practice with 4 locations (Dearborn, Taylor, Berkley, and Rochester) and 9 providers.

Duties : Answer and respond to calls / emails from patients, their families, our office staff, and hospitals while providing excellent customer serviceGather data and confirm accurate information needed to obtain authorizationsVerify all patient insurances for office visits, testing, and proceduresObtain insurance referrals / authorizations in a timely mannerEffectively communicate with patients, their families, our office staff, and hospitals regarding authorizationsPromote proactive and positive communication with co-workers, patients, patients families, and hospitalsQualifications : Experience in a medical office REQUIREDExperience in insurance authorizations REQUIREDExperience in customer service REQUIREDExperience in cardiology PREFERREDWe offer an excellent compensation and benefit package (health, dental, vision, matched 401k, PTO, paid holidays, paid lunch breaks) as well as the ability for growth.#J-18808-Ljbffrby Jobble
